Bilberry, Elizabeth, Mike, et al.:

Thank you for the additional insight into the call. I am glad that the analyst was forthright in his questions and tough, and that the JMAR staff held up under the fire. So that no one misunderstands, the purpose of my post was to point out that what I see may be what other analysts and investors see, and that may be why the stock is still so "undervalued." But I don't presume to know this is so. If Merrill-Lynch is convinced, I'll just shut up now.

Elizabeth, you are such a diligent soul, please do not be offended by me. I know you do not mean for me to call DARPA about whether or not BriteLight is a viable commercial product. Obviously, that's absurd. I have not found DARPA to be particularly astute at picking winners, but I hold hope, as do you, that DARPA does know something about what JMAR is doing with XRL.

On the lack of JMAR laser systems business: I am not referring to the medical lasers, but to industrial laser systems like welders shown in the company literature. Didn't PPL used to sell laser systems? According to some folks I spoke to in the industry, JMAR has not sold a laser processing system for a long time, maybe over 2 years. Isn't this brought out in the investor meetings (which I have never attended)?

As for calling JMAR, that may happen. But it should be obvious that my post is an open message to JMAR management and the Board.

(I know they watch this thread. Bilberry is Martinez, right? <g>)

Every investor has the responsibility of managing their investment, yes? Every JMAR investor has the right to know why the BriteLight story is unchanged for 14 months or more. I don't want to bash JMAR capriciously: I think JMAR has real potential and I want to see the stock valued where it belongs. If the problem is credibility, I assume it is better to get the issue on the table and examine it. It didn't take me very long to examine the history of BriteLight and decide that something feels wrong.

However, it seems that this is taken in a sense quite different from the one in which it is offered. I apologize for any impression of sniping or otherwise destructive criticism or even just unproductive waste of everyone's time. That was not my intention. For many months I watched this board without comment and wondered why the posters were such enthusiasts. I have watched and wondered why there were not more calls for consistency and more appeals to fact and historical record, more tough-mindedness toward management accountability and honesty. I held my tongue (actually my keyboard), and now I see this was probably a better course of action.

I perceive I have made a mistake in thinking that this message board is an appropriate medium for an investor to express concern and call other investors to look to their powder, and to ask for accountability. I am not being sarcastic. I really do sense that these questions seem to annoy and may be considered dangerous, at least by some.

I do not wish to damage the value of the stock with my clumsy questions, nor do I wish to annoy any of you good people. I probably will not raise such concerns here again publicly, though if I contact JMAR management directly I will post the dialog to this board, along with any other news that seems worthy (though I will never be able to keep up with the likes of Elizabeth, Bilberry, Gooch, Candlestick or Richaaard).

Otherwise, I probably will confine my more personal views and concerns to private messages, direct contact with the company as suggested, and other avenues (away from the public thread) that seem appropriate. I assume that this is more in line with the "philosophy" and intent of this board. I will quietly buy or sell JMAR as my understanding dictates, as do you all. I am not here to be some kind of tiny JMAR pundit. I am here to invest in something I believe in, and to make money doing it.

So, I will close this post with a simple, true and sincere wish more congruous with the other public messages I read here:

I hope BriteLight is ready for commercial roll out in the next 3 months, and that it will be a magnificent success. Bilberry, I hope every upbeat and confident utterance you heard was actually conservative, and that this will succeed beyond anyone's expectations.
