The drought may end tomorrow. eBay Inc., which describes its site as "your personal trading community," filed a registration in mid-July. The San Jose, Calif.-based company claims 140 million hits weekly on its one-to-one auction/trading site. On average, more than 70,000 items are added daily, and over half of all the auctions listed on eBay have been successfully completed, according to the company.
