Big Bucks, I could not find a picture of Nero, only a definition and a poem:

FIDDLE, n. An instrument to tickle human ears by friction of a horse's tail on the entrails of a cat.

To Rome said Nero: "If to smoke you turn
I shall not cease to fiddle while you burn."
To Nero Rome replied: "Pray do your worst,
'Tis my excuse that you were fiddling first."

You linked to annotated charts of the DOW a while ago.
(the invention of the automatic bread slicer was shown
on one of them, 1928 I believe).
Annotation is a good idea, if one follows a specific
stock for a long time. I would not be surprised if you
had already done that for AMAT. Comments by CEOs and analysts,
upgrades and downgrades, earnings revisions probably repeat
with each cycle. That would make it easier to predict price
during the next cycle.
