Brain Dump..... >>I suppose they will have coverage there some day but for now there are probably more deer and skunks per mile than permanent residents in that mountainous region. In time I suspect that NXTL, or more likely, the partners will add some coverage in part of that I5 stretch. But until LEOS are up and functioning, I don't expect much.>> Arnie, Forgot the magazine, but recently read Craig's vision concerning the way his new grouping of companies will bring much good to the world for the way it will help us reconnect with each other, ease of overcrowding of cities, speed up innovation, etc. From where I sit, this will allow mankind to purely extend and leverage the "internet model" right into the street for all to benefit. What's the internet model: helping, sharing, giving and partnering into a pie that has no limits for the betterment of those participating. Truth and openness DOES MATTER and IS REWARDED. Truth is not co-opted and owned by anyone. It resides at a "higher level" for everyone to respect and share. What's the old model: taking, hiding, roping, doping, selling one-offs into a fixed zero sum pie for the debasement of those playing the game. Truth has no place in this model. Versions of truth are used by opposing sides to advance competing agendas. With few exceptions, politics and power prevail. Arnie, you know and respect the old model. You almost have to rewire your brain to understand the REAL truth and power behind the internet model. Like the truth, iDEN technology, doesn't necessarily have to come in a neat package. Content and user buy-in and trust are all that matters. Like a laser, it feeds on the immediacy behind truth and information for the benefit those on others. Wall Street is completely asleep with this stock. While they support lunatic valuations on "somewhere over the rainbow" thinking 2-3 years out with Yahoos of the world, they don't know that Nextel users have more embedded trust and reliance on the value based on dozens of minutes and hours of iDEN-use each day than the 5 mintutes a fraction of those same individuals could be spending on their "My Yahoo" page. Nextel has a wonderfully powerful migratory path to a multitude of value-added features and benefits that will bleed their way out of IP networks which every Tom, Dick and Harry will be able to tap into in the coming months and years. IP-telephony can leverage Nextel's user base in ways that will make Craig's integrated global telecommunications network dance, sing and shine. It takes guts to hold Nextel, but when the Wall Street finally gets it, Katy bar the door.
