E:

Anyone interested in industry information?

You bet! (And what pray tell is the SOXX saying - sell me sell me or buy me buy me or something else.)

I sense a tad of trepidation in your notes! No surprise to me - whenever I decide to buy (or limited buy for me) the stock promptly
drops about 20% because my bargains were not as cheap as I thought
they were when I first bought them. I've got used to them.

I would like to see how the week plays out. With Clinton's little
mea culpa it should be bad initially. But I am thinking buying opps -
will I ever learn? Probably not! <g> (As long as the underlying
assets reflect greater earnings power than that indicated by the stock price Shane's got to be a buyer or at least a non-seller!)

Also on any so called rumors about buyouts of LSI funny that the
rumors gathered hold during last week's INTC's big shindig where
they said Strong Arm is good, set top boxes are good etc etc... Coincidence or kismet? <ggg>

Shane.

NEC design win for Symbios - ENTERPRISE - SERVER - storage not any goofy silly low margin PC thing <g>:
symbios.com

and the fibre channel / SCSI debate continues:
winntmag.com

(fibre channel will eventually take over in SANs which I think are growing and will be growing very fast - however that does not mean SCSI is going poof! SCSI has several years of life left I think. FC
is just starting from a very small base and so for the early people in the game (like LSI and others) the rate of growth and margins should be very wide. That's why I like FC but it does not mean that I dislike Fast/Gigabit Ethernet, ATM or SCSI !!! <wink>)

Shane.
