jach, I see strong support (triple bottom) at $58 with next support at $55. CSCO is in an upward trend and just broke triple top resistance last week. Also RS is positive. Therefore I would be surprised to see the numbers that you are talking about (though certainly support can be tested in a weak market). My analysis is based on Point & Figure method. What analysis are you using?

imo, CSCO will be a good buy in the range of 51$ to 55$ for
normal mkt condition and if mkt is very weak it will be 45-50$ range. note: just sharing my analysis for those who want to
get in for a certain price and for those who wants to sell
out and get in later; if one wants to hold, that's their
decision

It just seems to me that you have a vested interest in seeing
the price tank a bit. If you were just offering 'anaylsis'
advice, you wouldn't have posted the same (or nearly identical)
message more than a dozen times in the past week. Good luck
with your shorts.

Also, keep in mind that most long term holders on this thread
have averaged costs well below $45-50.

jach,

Hang in there!

Cisco may drop further if the market drops from here which is almost a given. I don't worry about it too much because this stock is one the 5 gems I consider holding for the verrrrry long term.

Fortunately my cost basis in Cisco is about $5 per share and it's made my retirement many times over!

The next drop will just be another opportunity to go long!

Eric

Jach,

In all due respect, you've presented zero analysis. I'd really enjoy seeing your data. Seriously.
