One of Aha-choo's most ignorant statements may be the demise of television viewing.
We are in a transition phase. The convergence of the two mediums will be the final echelon. Smart TVs. And ACTV is right on the cusp.
TV watching is often a social event, unlike the internet experience.
No-one is next to me as I type.
The other key point AHa missed is the patented technology's uses that meld so easily into the net and are already well received just within the educational community. Just one of of the UNLIMITED potential revenue sources .

Great post Steve.
Looks like Liberty has great plans for Actv. Thats how I felt, but there's nothing wrong with more confirmation.

"Clearly, there are other areas of programming that can be enhanced with the ACTV proprietary technology. We're interested in exploring all of those," he said, adding, "It's a great business [with] just sports."

Jensen said ACTV also has some potentially important patents, including ones covering the interface between streaming video on the Internet.

I see Reese also see's Liberty as supplying CLOUT with its great programming, distribution, and marketing prowess.

Later, Art

Happy Rosh Hashana to Actv and those who believe in it.

"To All,
Remember to keep your focus on the joint venture with Liberty Media."

Steve,

I suggest that we all focus on where the revenue to ACTV will come from and increased shareholder value. As far as I can can see, you are the only one trying to increase shareholder value. Good job, but not enough, I want to hear a concrete marketing plan from ACTV, not a bunch of nonsense based on a harried conference call. What the hell are we doing NOW, point in time, not a year from now.
