I strongly disagreed with some of the conclusions reached, or in the Compaq case - the starting point for a description of the entire PC industry. That's all. Nothing personal, just talking about the message content. In terms of the queries in the "bomb exploding" post, I thought that your tongue was planted firmly in your cheek, that you really weren't looking to have answers to any of them. In any case, your posts are welcome. If everybody always agreed with everybody else, not only would SI be a real boring place, but very few of us would be stimulated into doing any meaningful thinking.
