long term for asnd holders have nothing to worry about but for those who are very short term holders you better get ready for some volatile times.

i like cs and i most likely will be a buyer at some point today, earnings are after the bell.

OT OT OT OT OT My 2 cents:

CS is a dog and hasnt been mentioned in any takeover rumors that I know of. It will take alot more than this "has been" for a "scare tactic" of any magnitude.

Agreed all around. Today could turn out well as there seems to be hardly any selling left. As I write, ASND up over a point.

CS + ASND = CSCO? Couldn't LU match the networking gorilla by buying into the enterprise (CS) and the core (ASND)? CS at current prices is hardly much more expensive than a couple of Livingstones. And despite the death throe talk, CS still has a substantial role in the marketplace.
