I totally agree with your post j_b, and I have no answer to your question.... yes I agree both Dems and Republicans are too extreme. Some people like me are affected more by republicans than democrats but it cuts both ways I know. Thats why BC was elected I think... he seemed like a moderate between both extreme sides. Interestingly, people seem to slam him for that.... some here have accused Clinton of "waffling" on issues etc. - personally, thats fine with me. I want a president to listen to me not preach to me. Many disagree with this as Ive learned here. Michelle
