From Asia Biz: "BUSINESS TIP OF THE DAY: HYUNDAI-LG CHIP ENGAGEMENT ON THE ROCKS. The proposed union between the Hyundai and LG Chip groups appears destined to fall through, says the Korea Herald today (Monday). The two groups are "miles apart" over issues of managerial control. The agreement is also facing trouble from foreign competitors. The Herald says US and European governments are threatening antitrust probes against the tentative merger agreement."
