As far as I know, the agreement was a stock swap, .815 shares of ALA for each DIGI share and was not tied to any multiple of sales.

Thanks. I subsequently determined that the value of the deal was $4.4 billion. At DIGI's annual sales level of something over $1.5B, the deal appears to have been at about 2.8x sales.
