CS giving away rebates and product??? What's the deal? This is an excerpt from todays press release: Continuing its initiative to deliver maximum value to Synergy Plus resellers and their customers, Cabletron Systems today announced a series of innovative, limited-time offers on its popular MultiSwitch 900 product. Resellers receive instant rebates of $150 per module; their customers select free product based on the package they select. The offers, available through October 30, comprise Fast Ethernet, multitechnology switching, remote access and module/chassis configuration packages. Resellers will receive rebates for each MultiSwitch module sold, and their customers will be able to select from a variety of free equipment. If this multiswitch is so popular why are they giving rebates AND free equipment? Why are they announcing this today of all days? Dont understand this strategy at all! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S.
