Why would you want to continue trading with a broker and software that you admit is "cumbersome, slow, and executions are unpredictable?" Because I still work full-time and am not prepared to trade for a living. I'd love CT if they'd offer the service at affordable prices for occasional use. Dreyfus offers low commissions and reasonable performance considering I'm NOT using a direct-entry, ECN enabled package. The comments above were in comparison to a CT or RT3, not as absolutes. Actually, I've gotten pretty good at having entry screens filled out and ready to go when I see the T&S in a favorable state. There is nothing like hitting the inside market and knowing your order is there instantly, however.
