Ms. Anne Brown of the Alberta Securities Commission reports
Dates of Sept. 27, 1999 to Nov. 19, 1999, have been set for the hearing of
allegations against Cartaway Resources Corporation, John Ivany, Christopher
Michael Stuart, William DeJong and Walter Nash.
The original notice of hearing dated July 20, 1998, also contained
allegations against First Marathon Securities Limited, Vancouver First
Marathon brokers Robert Arthur Hartvikson and Blayne Barry Johnson, and two
former directors of Cartaway Resources Corporation, Charles Mitchell and
Hugh Mogenson.
The ASC approved a settlement agreement with First Marathon Securities
Limited on July 30, 1998.
A hearing into the allegations against Mr. Hartvikson and Mr. Johnson has
been adjourned to await the outcome of a B.C. Securities Commission hearing
into related issues. The B.C. hearing is scheduled for the months of July
and August 1999.
By an amended notice of hearing dated Sept. 23, 1998, staff of the ASC
discontinued the allegations against Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Mogenson.

Supervalue: I wish they would settle out of court.

The best thing that could happen to shareholders of CWA is for the parties involved to settle out of court.

Just think how messy things would be if they continued on to success. Unfortunately the only ones to suffer is the shareholders.

Supervalue: Maybe the shareholders should send a message.

Next meeting the shareholders should attend and replace directors and management to get the value out of CWA properties that shareholders deserve. Right now we sit here waiting for these parties to get their house in order.
