alan--

i agree...

i think its kind of funny...during the last few years the market didnt go up because so many were bullish. it went up because earnings were growing, the economy domestically was good, the world was a wonderful place full of democracy, blahblahblah. now, the economy is weakening, layoffs are coming and earnings estimates are going into the toilet. market internals are bad, russia is on the brink of civil war, the asian miracle has turned out to be the same old mercantilist story...shall i go on?

sentiment was bullish because reality was bullish. sentiment is turning bearish because reality is bearish.

if you dont know who the patsy is, you ARE the patsy.

on a lighter note...this rally today looks like a load of crap. sure we are up dramatically off our lows, but there is no real volume. EVERYONE cant be out for jewish new year.

good luck to all,
trey
