Bp, I don't disagree with the stupidity and foolishness of it. I do disagree with the coloring of it as an impeachable offense It undermines the constitution, when those people bringing the charges are the ones who are destroying it. They are also establishing a fourth branch of government that can attack anyone it want to.
Let me give you an example from my youth. We were driving down a snowy hill in Massachusetts when my friend lost control of the car,and side swiped a brand new Mercedes Benz, totaling the car. Wel the man came running out of the house, and insisted that he would pay for it,and for us young men to go running along.
Well, we felt very, very fortunate. A few years later I found out he was our local representative on hiatus, busting a hymen or two.
It seems our local official was humping a young woman not his wife, and did not want to be caught. Isn't not reporting an accident a felony misdemeanor?
It also comes down to what my wise uncle used to say,who was Phil Knight of NIke's Lawyer, and Phil dedicated a building at Harvard Law School to him. To paraphrase" You tell a lie,it will take you forty lies to cover it up. You tell the truth but once."
I am not condoning his actions, but I am also deeply worried about this new branch of government, that set out to get the president no matter what it entailed.
