Steve, be wary of Mr. Eickerman. He's the excitable type, and very vocal, but Eickerman has a tendency to disappear once his touts make a respectable run. Just take a look at the Isonics thread. In early 1998 Eickerman was Isonics' biggest cheerleader, promising the world, but once the stock made a small run he was nowhere to be found. (Of course, now the stock is trading in a much lower range.) As for MRVC, I don't doubt the existence of buyout discussions. My understanding is that a group of bottom-fishers purchased a substantial block of MRVC stock and are pushing aggressively for a sale/merger of the company. Perhaps the spike today indicates that they have succeeded. In any case, I'm grateful for the move.
