Well, well, well!! Looks like the fire-cracker has exploded right in the face of the Republicans! Try to imagine them wearing burnt and tattered clothes and with their faces covered with soot now :-) :-)

To be kind, the Republican members on the Judiciary Committee have been incredibly stupid, shooting themselves in their you-know-where :-) :-)

Dipy.

Her resources are far more limited, as is her access to the people and the records. The Congress has access to the best scholars in the country, as well as the major courts and their officers, including the Justice Department and the Supreme Court. They are also far more motivated (on both sides of the issue) to find a certain "spin". If there were a legitimate way to put forward that version, the Democrats would. Provability has never been an issue, as can be seen from charges made by both sides. The whole concept of spin revolves around saying something enough times without having the other side be able to prove you wrong.
