The amazing part of all this is the almost total silence by women's groups. He supports their causes so he gets a pass for his own personal conduct. A Republican would have been taken out and shot on the White House lawn for behaving like this.

Well then, what have we learned here? I guess the important thing to womens groups is that you support their causes huh?

I have supported the positions of womens rights groups most of the time. This time they were out to lunch. They should have stood for the principle of women not being used even if she was happy to be used. Bill was a predator with Monica. Vast difference in their power etc. The womens right movement will be set back by their failure to strongly condem it. I like Patricia Ireland but she has been very very supportive of Bill. Bad idea, I am just amazed she did it. She should have condemed him and just stopped. But she would say it was bad behavior and then tell you all the reasons why Bill is a great guy. Surrendered principles for not wanting to offend democrats.
