New thread - 'Gold Derivatives' #Subject-22937 - sounds interesting -g-

gmsresearch.com - scroll up-page a little on this one, there's a link to a (paid) 'report' on gold in deflation. The 'Today' bit is interesting in itself;

"It is not being pessimistic to observe the fact that, for most of the globe, the monetary system in force since the gold exchange standard was dropped in 1971 does not work."

You got to watch what you step in around those cows, Alan #reply-5807763
Last spring I was quite bullish on gold, did well for a bit but hung on to too much through the summer. Right now I just don't know, don't have a strong feeling on it either way in the short term (doesn't matter that much, I'll be holding gold stocks anyway, it's just a matter of how much). It would be nice to think Bill Murphy is right, but Mr Ellis here isn't so optimistic on commodities; biz.yahoo.com

Markets up, US$ up mrci.com ... We still have to get through October
