<< could very well mean that the completion is dependent on other factors, and that management isn't committed to having it done and operational on the same time frame as prior.>>

You could be quite right! Moving in in 1999 is not necessarily the same .... on necessarily different ... from the previous statement. They might previously have been finishing the plant in December and moving in in January ..... and with the new wording, they could have the new factory on hold until January, build it by 11/99 and move in during 12/99.

At least they are producing acceptable product there, and still plan a factory there. That is more positive news than we have had in a while.

I must say, this world of ever narrower meaning for words is beginning to drive me nuts.

To the "thread,"

The lease on the temporary China facility is apparently able to be extended on a month-by-month basis.

Any delay in the full plant assists TFS's cash flow considerations, as (apparently) construction costs can be spread over a lengthier period.

This may well have a slightly positive earnings impact, as it is obvious that any delay in the permanent facility's construction means that the necessity to accelerate expenses to get the plant on line on an expedited basis is largely mitigated.

Have a good day.
