Dearest Monica actually looked rather fetching in those earliest pics of her and the Prez. You know, the receiving line, she in her beret?

Bulking up rather a lot for some while since, sadly.

I actually do feel some sympathy for her. She had very loose lips, that sank both her and the Prez's ships, but she also seemed to have tried hard not to do anything to bring him down for some time. Until the screws were turned unbarably tight. He also seems to have tried to help her in reasonable, but decent ways. And to have emotionally have cared about her.

I actually would have really admired her if she had flat out refused to help Starr. I think there would have been a huge backlash against Starr if he had gone forward and prosecuted her. I think he would have had a very hard time convicting her. And I think her employment, furture prospects would have been a lot better than they are now.

And her book prospects even better. To remain in character, she should have waited until after he left office.

I think she would have been a type of hero then, and so regarded. Not by all of course, but by enough.
