Compaq and Eicon Enter Marketing and Sales Initiative for Remote Access Server Market

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1998--Eicon Technology (TSE: EIC; ME: EIC), a leading worldwide provider of remote access products, today announced a marketing alliance with Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE:CPQ), the world's leading supplier of distributed enterprise solutions. Through this partnership, Compaq and Eicon will initiate joint marketing and sales channel activities designed to promote Compaq Remote Access Servers in Europe.
