Granted, my timing *could* be off.

However, I was watching the market with great interest last week and this morning in particular.

An astounding amount of money has flowed into the bond market and put volume has gone through the roof. There are some sectors (such as banking/finance) that have taken horrendous hits. Short interest is sky high in some of these stocks. When the market tanked this morning, the volume was anemic.

The negative sentiment is as absurd at this point as the positive sentiment was at the height of the momentum mania. Where are you going to find the sellers to take this down another 500 - 1000 points?

I think the market is going to take off again...soon, and I don't want to risk betting on another dip beforehand.
