dougjn,

I had a woman boss for a couple yrs. The issues with her were the same as those with a male -- no apparent advantage or disadvantage.

The item of most concern for me regarding woman's rights is abortion . I can see that the opposing forces have regrouped recently. This hounding of Pres. Clinton for 5 yrs(they got lucky in the past yr)seems to be connected in no small way to that issue.

Certain politicians & religious leaders consider the overturn of the abortion law as their crusade. I'm not an extremist. For example, I don't believe partial birth abortions should be allowed;however the so-called "christian" coalition is much more strident in their aims. By supporting the campaign to force the Pres. from office they've shown their true colors.......if the voting public became outraged it would turn its back on the democrats for many years and give the conservatives the length of time necessary to again make abortion illegal.
