Hi, What would be more interesting is who is short. that would probably tell us why. For example, a few years ago Yorkton lost millions when they got off BEA after a big financing. At this time I don't see any brokerage firm "sponsoring" or supporting BEA. Other possibilities include insiders exercising options to put some bucks in the bank for BEA and perhaps themselves(anybody know what price outstanding options are set at?). I would only be concerned if the 7-25 well was a huge success and there was heavy shorting into heavy buying interest after an announcement. Has a private placement been approved at a set price but not done yet? The list of possibilities is almost endless. teevee

Price up until the 15 was hovering in the high 40's, it would have been logical to short up until about that time. The more important question would be what is the short position now and how is it changing as the week progresses.
