Upon the voting of articles of impeachment in the House, this true Independent, who has voted each way with close evenness over the last 15 years, will turn into a rabid anti-Republican (and therefore Democrat) for some long time to come in all national elections. Count on it. Why? Because I will regard the Republicans as a radical and frightening force opposed to reasonableness and individual liberties and consideration. I will regard them as the clear and present danger. Much more threatening than the Democratic tendency towards fixed and failing, though right sounding, ideologies. Doug Doug
