Well, the Asian currency crisis started last May from Tailand. So , any companies
which were hurt by this crisis, it should have been shown on the earning report in the past six quarters, that is the reason we see a lot of small to middle cap stocks corrected more than 50% in the past one year since last October. The crisis basically had hit the bottom, and the worst was over, and what left in the Asian market can only be better.
Any companies whose earning was not impacted up to now, pretty much those companies were immune to the world financial crisis, either their products are a must have or they just grow their business by eating the lunch of other smaller companies.
I expect LU to be one of those companies growing its own business by eating the lunch of other smaller competitors.
