Here I is.. just call the Equity spammer, he'll come right over. Shoot, Bill, you don't need me. Just pick a fight with someone, anyone. (Oops, there is someone named 'anyone'. Never mind.) Maybe even ID will come over here to ask you to come out and play. Nah, probably better for everyone to stay in their own sandboxes for now.

DARN!!

Your (heading to bed) groupie,

Len

Bill,

I've noticed the boards getting real quiet lately. When I worked for CompuServe's Investor Forum a few years back, the place went dead during the most difficult market periods (you would think the opposite). Boards seem to attract crowds the same way as stocks.

Also think we're witnessing some shakeout of all the easy money nonsense (a very healthy thing). Mark F has been touting Electronic Day Trader in every publication known to man recently. I almost expect it to show up when my son brings home his Highlights for Children.

Even though these systems "shouldn't" be dependent on market conditions, I'm sure a lot of wannabe traders got shaken out chasing longs down this steep market decline.
