Wrong! It has been much remarked that such a standing ovation is very rare at the UN. And not before received by Bill Clinton.

It was a clear signal of respect and support for him in his adversity. No doubt in some measure a sign of hope and message to the U.S. that this small matter should not long distract us.

But also an indication of regard for Clinton himself, as a known and valuable presence, on the world stage.

Hardly the sign of loss of respect for America on account of our disgraceful President, that many right wing ideologues have theorized.

Sometimes one need to open one's eyes a bit, and actually see.

I think it's disgusting that you would take enthusiasm and respect for the office of the Presidency, and even respect for the current man holding that office, and imply that people are thereby supporting your personal political views.

Get over it.
