What is interesting about CDWI is nothing has changed in their business fundamentals and their target date to come out on the internet. They are much better positioned than a company like CDNW in that they make a good profit on their retail stores. Their e-commerce Idea is not necessarily going against AMZN and the others in that they will focus on used CD's which is a very strong part of the CD market. When you read the Yahoo board there was a post on an interview with the CEO, and when you read it you get the sense that the management is pretty conservative to make sure everything will run smoothly. I kind of like the idea that if a store is near an e-commerce purchaser, that store will get the royalty on that purchase. That means that it will support the local stores.

I'll will admit with my other posts that I was dead wrong how low CDWI would go, but I didn't realize that small cap stocks were going to be put through the meat grinder. I'm obviously glad I did sell earlier on. But when insiders of the company have sold no shares and only bought at the beginning of the year (highest price about $4) I do see a compelling purchase at 7 1/2 or thereabout. I believe if I hold and wait for a better time in the market that I will be rewarded. I can't believe that when they roll it out in December before Christmas that it will not cause some sort of excitement. I will take the gamble but will refrain from projections since it seems to me impossible to predict the action of a small company like CDWI. But I do know the market goes through ups and downs and it's amazing how a bad few months can turn into good times very quickly as we saw in yesterday's market.
Good luck to all,
Ron
