CyberStudios Adds New Chief Operating Officer and Editor-in-Chief

Lawrence P. Howorth, 25 Year Management Veteran and Former Co-Founder/President, Softbank Interactive Marketing, Named Chief Operating Officer; Susan Gordon, Former Deputy Editor of Buzz Magazine, and Veteran of California Magazine, Woman's Day, Glamour and Seventeen, Named Editor-In-Chief

CULVER CITY, Calif., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- CyberStudios, Inc., creator and leading producer of Personal Themed Web sites(TM) on the Internet, today announced several key staff additions.

Lawrence P. Howorth was named Chief Operating and Financial Officer of CyberStudios, Inc. Howorth, an experienced Internet veteran, has over 25 years of senior, multinational, operations and financial management experience, most recently as President and Executive Vice-President, Sales of SOFTBANK Interactive Marketing. Howorth was instrumental in growing the company to $50 million in gross sales in its first 12 months of operations. He was responsible for developing the nationwide infrastructure, Web-based technical architecture and for managing the Company's over 50 full time sales employees.

Prior to SOFTBANK, Howorth served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Learning Tree International (Nasdaq: LTRE), a global technical training company, and managed the International finance and administration operations of Smith International (NYSE: SII), a global oilfield and mining equipment manufacturer. Howorth is a Canadian Chartered Accountant by profession.

Susan Gordon was named Editor-in-Chief for all of CyberStudios' Themed Web sites. Gordon has over 20 years of experience as a writer and editor for some of America's leading special interest magazines, including Glamour, Seventeen, Woman's Day, California Magazine, and most recently, Buzz Magazine where she was the Deputy Editor.

Howorth has quickly identified and added several key members of the sales, technical and creative teams. Peter Lancelloti, Senior Sales Representative, Local Services; Mary Wiswall, Account Manager, Sales; Chad L. Collingwood, Programmer; Christine Thompson, Web Designer and Alondra Villacorta, Graphic Artist. More additions are planned in the coming weeks.

In making these announcements, CyberStudios' Founder, Chairman and CEO Steven R. Koltai said, "The extraordinary growth of CyberStudios, Inc. has created an immediate need for additions to the CyberStudios team at all levels, and they join us at a critical time when their considerable expertise is much in demand. We are exceedingly fortunate at this stage of CyberStudios's growth to bring in so distinguished a group of experienced staff. As the head of our operations, Lawrence brings a level of experience to our Company which few, if any, companies of our age and size are able to enjoy. Similarly, I have long believed that our business of Personal Themed Web sites(TM) is a close cousin to the specialty magazine publishing business, so I am especially excited that someone of Susan's experience and reputation is joining CyberStudios as we launch our next Personal Themed Web sites(TM), joining Wedding411.com(TM)."

In closing, Koltai said, "Our first themed commerce environment, Wedding411.com(TM), has proven to be universally recognized as the quality standard in the Personal Themed Web site(TM) category. In about three weeks, we will be launching our second Web site, BarMitzvah411.com(TM), followed approximately quarterly by several additional themed commerce environments. Now, with this management team and the additional staff we are continuing to recruit, we are rapidly moving to the next stage of growth in the evolution of CyberStudios."

CyberStudios, Inc. is the creator and leading producer of Personal Themed Web sites(TM) on the Internet. The Culver City, California, USA based Company, privately owned, launched the first of its e-commerce environments, Wedding411.com(TM), in June, 1998 and has planned several additional productions in the coming months. Perhaps if PT would do less name calling and stick to the issues it would be easier for me to accept your take on the matter.

Had he used the entire sentence that the word was originally in, perhaps I might see your POV, but he used only that ONE word from the entire article. There was simply no need for him to pick that ONE word to use in quote form. The fact that he IS a writer and capable of twisting words leads me to stand by my original assessment of the post.

Please realize that I had been remaining particularly quiet for awhile waiting for news from the company and he could have attached that post to several people that had posts after mine, if he were just posting information. He chose, instead, to attach it to what at the time was my last post.
