Upon reading your cheerleading remark for the New Year, I couldn't, I mean, really couldn't resist this urge to post. At the beginning of August, if you can remember how ASND was being hyped on this thread, I recommended this thread to my friend. Unfortunately, he bought the hype and more unfortunately, he bought ASND at $53. By the way, he borrowed money from credit card to do that. He believed ASND would soar to $80 as so recommended. And for the rest of the story, everybody knows what happened thereafter. I feel I am guilty for recommending this thread to him. I feel so ashamed. Your implosive outburst at the beach and Kevin is still vivid and fresh on my mind and I don't think a person can change his spot that quickly from being so egoistic to that serene overnight. Henry David Thoreau wrote two essays, "Why I went to woods" and "Why I left the woods". I sure know why I left this thread a while ago, and for that matter, why so did others like Don, Lisa, and many good others. I don't want to jinx this thread for the New Year, but I do feel it is right to say things as they unfold. As a year end note, I do think I should be very careful about who and what to listen to. Wish everybody a happy New Year and a prosperous 1998!!!
