I'd guess that tax-loss selling is exerting pressure on DMMC as well as numerous other small caps. Mutual Funds end their fiscal year on Oct. 31, so most of their selling should be over by the second or third week of October. Individuals began selling in September and will continue through December, but I suspect that many will want to position themselves for a possible December rally and, to avoid wash sale complexities, will have most of their tax-related selling completed in October also. (In my own case, I completed my selling several weeks ago and simply rebought the stocks I want to hang on to in my IRA.)
