Some companies that "do nothing" prior will not survive 2 qtrs into 2000. Others will find the cost easier to go out of business and restart under a new name. Cash and some work will flow in for awhile but after 6/2000 it is mostly over for Y2K. Hopefully they will do better than .04. The expectation is low. If it is here you are correct it will pull back,,, CC or not it will not run far. Two points from 7 is nothing compared to the amount it could run from 9. The base,,, each days close will determine where this puppy ends....
