Interesting points.There may be investors who get in
after the reverse split since there does seem to be some
bounce after a large percentage bail out before they
drift down to the former level.In the short term investors
who get in after the split are much better off than the
ones who were in before.Take BNEZ as an example
many of the same names appear before and after the
split and support for the management.There could be
a way to profit from reverse splits by getting in after and
staying short term.The big winners of course are the
management who resell the authorized shares freed up by
the split.These guys must be sweating with the new SEC
requirements for producing audited financials starting Jan 99
since they must now list money from stock sales as additional
paid in capital, which in most cases is the only cash the
company generates.I think we will see many companies move
to the pink sheets.
