"S&P Cuts Estimate for Cabletron Systems"

personalwealth.com

S&P equity analyst Megan Graham-Hackett reduced her fiscal 1999 (Feb.)
earnings per share estimate for Cabletron Systems CS by $0.04 to
$0.42. She says second quarter earnings per share of $0.09 beat Wall
Street's mean forecast of $0.08, but flat revenues of $371 million were
lower than expected due to seasonal weakness in international sales and
a disruption in sales from Digital Equipment due to its integration with
Compaq. Graham-Hackett feels that the stock is fully valued at 13 times
her calendar 1999 earnings per share estimate of $0.80 and continues to
rank it 3 STARS (hold). Get unbiased opinions on stocks in the news
