Believe me, djane is long on ASND. The short was a day trade on expected volatility. He is a shrewd player and it pays most of the time.

Simply good horse sense. Long term ASND is a winner, buyout or not, but short term you have to play the sentiment. Of course he will be back. You don't put in that kind of effort not to. I've been playing cycles for months. That drop down to $32 was pretty scary though.

<it is surprising how little conviction he had in light of his posts> Clay, I have seen the same pattern over and over again here on SI. I'm no shrink but there is something to it. I do however take it as a Bullish/Contrarian indicator. These people have helped me stick with Ascend (other stocks) during the periods of uncertainty yet they bail out and disappear! I also believe this Clinton scandal on the web thing will be great for networkers. Talk about horse about buggy stage! The equiptment that will handle the convergence Must be installed at POP'S and ISP's all over the world in order to handle this Voice/Data/Video thing! Good Luck All, Pat Hughes Go Ascend!
