jay, just beginning to follow the thread. re: your #4, which begs to take the emotion out, why not use trailing stops as you cheer, when you get up above the 2 pts or 7%. Another consideration is to take 1/2 off the table at a defined point, such as at a set retracement or % above a dma. I am thinking of 5-7,8% as profit-loss stops. fwiw

ls, enjoy the thread, I am fundamentally more comfortable with position trading than daytrading, altho the last month has been hard on holding anything very long, w/ more of the same in store. (????)
