I am busy today with other stuff so not really listening to CNBC and the "ugly bond lady" If he is talking you should hear about it from her (Ha noticed Lee answered your question...she is always up to date on all that treasury stuff...) looks like the companies that warned were not dow stocks but here is an example Cooper Cameron Corp. (RON) 34 1/4: international manufacturer of oil and gas pressure control equipment warns that it expects Q3 earnings to come in below Wall Street estimates of $0.84 a share; company expects Q3 net of $0.70 a share, flat with year-ago results, and also notes that Q4 earnings could be down approximately 10% from Q4 net of $0.83 a share; results reflect weak demand in compression and power equipment orders; see press release..... but Dow Stock: Eastman Kodak (EK) 83 3/4 -1 5/8: Goldman Sachs downgrades leading photographic film and equipment maker from "trading buy" to "market outperform"..... also Compaq (CPQ) saying its sales from Asia this year will be lower than expected due to the region's economic crisis JP morgan is initiating coverage of several casino stocks Chiron Corp. (CHIR) 19 1/4 +5/8: DLJ upgrades biotechnology company from "market perform" to "buy"..... Amgen Inc. (AMGN) 75 11/16 +7/16: DLJ upgrades biopharmaceutical company from "hold" to "buy"..... its sounding like the deal in Japan is falling apart and that Clintons visit will make no difference... teachers in Russia are taking 15 bottles of Vodka in leiu of pay as the government has no money art cashin ...floor trader at paine webber stocks may suffer from kitchen sink syndrome....take all the bad news out this quarter
