Since Island won't accept any 'all or none' orders from their members, I doubt Datek will give us that benefit, unless Island changes their rules.

But, Island is in the process of trying to get SEC approval to be considered an actual exchange. I would think that, if they get such an approval, you might see them start accepting AON orders. At least it's something we can hope for.

i noticed the same here as well - not particularly active stocks
but nevertheless it took datek almost 2 minutes to fill one sell
and it was peppered with partials

wish datek would explain exactly how partials are handled - it doenst
appear that they continue to work an order when it's disrupted by a
partial

instead the remaining shares from the order incur some lag so the more
partials the longer the order takes to fill

i recall in one discussion here that partials are sent ot the back of
queue and they are re-executed rather than staying at the front of
the queue til th eorder is filled

anyone here know exactly what datek does and how ?
