From your post...

"How much you know about local law before you begin is most unimportant."

I reiterate my assertion that any lawyer that doesn't consider his/her lack of specialization or even a rudimentary knowledge of relevant laws is a malpractice suit waiting to happen. It's amazing to me that a lawyer would advocate such a position.

As far as my attention to the details the current Clinton controversy, yes, I actually consider it my civic duty to be informed about this. I took the time to go to my local bookstore and pony up the $10 for the Starr Report and the Presidential Response. I also took the time to watch Clinton's grand jury testimony in it's entirety. I guess we have differing views as to what makes for productive discourse about matters concerning the direction of the OIC investigation and it's ultimate outcome.

You are apparently content to voice opinions and conform events to your particular preconceived notions and bias without researching the relevant facts. I've argued my position after reading and viewing the pertinent evidence. Reasonable people can arrive at different conclusions, but I have at least taken the time and expense to educate myself on the facts. You seem to have a problem with that.
