Took a point profit on several K of the common. THQI is acting somnambulistic lately ( per my short-termer's outlook). I figure there'll be time to get back in for the October earnings report, and the stock could sleepily drift into the 13's during the interim. In case I'm wrong I've still got thirty Dec. call options.

<<WCW beat WWF in the ratings last week again, following the return of the WWF from hiatus due to the U.S. Open. Appears that WCW is gaining momentum and the WWF is in a kind of lull right now. Overall, though,
wrestling remains hugely popular even with the return of Monday Night Football.>>

My take is that WCW is pulling out all the stops to stay ahead by bringing back the oldsters for one last go-round. Especially the Warrior and Ric Flair. But it can't last too many more years. Flair looks old, IMO. Note also that MNF now kicks off 45+ minutes earlier, which means that on the West Coast it doesn't effect WWF at all and only bleeds into Nitro a little. (The US Open was excellent, btw.)

THQ is doing a good job with the press releases lately. We've got two more games in the next week. Devil Dice is next.
