Elwood - I think this chip IS significant, mainly due to the price delta - it is a 300mhz chip for almost 2/3 less than what Intel is getting! I never bought the argument your buddy Mccoy is making on this. Right now, the cost differential is too great for it not to matter. I'd also like to hear from anyone that can tell me AMD can't SELL it's chips... The problem for them is on the production side, and whether they will ever make any money at this. But, that is not CPQ's problem. Look for some of those 'additional' monthly price cuts on the notebook side from Intel soon.....
