Where the article quoted Rossetto's "fck-you farewells," all I did was note that he and Batkin also put one over the bow of Zulu... I used the National Industry Standard writer's indelicate description of Rossetto's actions in order to emphasize that Zulu got screwed accordingly as well This was another example where fact and opinion were mixed. I read your message and then went looking for the "shot over the bow" that you referred to in the article. It wasn't until after that I found it had nothing to do with ZULU, and was only about struggles within Wired. The shot was your interpretation. But on the other hand, U.S. citizens just forked over...* No offense, but some of us from outside the US (like many within the US I'm led to believe) really couldn't care less about Clinton, his sex life, and how much it cost the US taxpayers to find out the dirty details. BF

Exactly why did you feel compelled to present your complaint to the SI Administrator, rather than take the normal complaint route through the webmistress? I, and perhaps others do as well, find that odd. Not odd at all. I also read other threads besides this one and a couple of months ago, while reading another thread, I ran across a post from the SI Administrator Bob stating that they preferred complaints regarding post removal go through him, as he can get to it faster then Jill. So I did. Since you've taken this whole thing so personally and are trying to make it an issue as if I intentionally set out to have you bounced, I'll repeat, I ONLY wanted the post I found offensive and associated with my name removed, NOT you. If SI had done that no one would have noticed. If you hadn't accused Jon unjustly of reporting you, I wouldn't have said anything and let the whole matter drop, since even I realized the venom with which you would attack me for doing something I felt was right for me.
