Hi teevee,

Good post.

There has not been enough seismic shot to "definitively" show closure, however, an experienced foothills geophysicist can infer closure from a combination of drill picks from existing wells and available seismic data.

I totally agree. The other side of the same coin is of course that not enough seismic has been shot to definitively show a lack of closure. So, if closure can be inferred for the 7-25 structure, then what would the motivation be of someone that is going around and claiming that there is no closure on the structure ??? Huummmm !!!

Another type of closure in this area are north-east trending faults which "compartmentalize" reservoirs.

As I recall, Bearcat's mapping of the Devonian in the vicinity of 7-25 (as presented on the Bearcat website) actually illustrated such faults.

Hopefully,we will then soon see the Turner Valley area become a district size play for the majors.

Nope, not my hope !! I hope that the district size play makes majors out of minors!! :-) :-) :-)

Have a pleasant evening.

Later,
