....you who still hold CSMA stock on that date will then be given dividend shares in both AdHatters, Inc. and Enviro-Tec, Inc. while retaining your stock in Coconino SMA.

Someone help me out here. We will be given dividend shares of Adhat and Enviro. We will be shareholders of privately held, non-trading companies? Then what's the most likely scenario?

It does make sense if you look at the progression of events on a new issue. The stock will not be restricted for any longer than it take for MM's to sign on board.
