NEWS: Newbridge Networks Gets Major Contract From Telkom South Africa KANATA, Ont. -(Dow Jones)- Newbridge Networks Corp. announced Tuesday that it has received a "multi-million dollar" contract to supply its asynchronous transfer mode, or ATM, internetworking products to provide a new broadband-managed network for Telkom South Africa. The company said the initial agreement with Telkom, the state controlled telecommunications company, covers two years, with an option to extend the relationship to 10 years.
