Anyone have any feeling what might come of the Dell analyst conference Thursday and Friday this week?

Thanks,

Chuzz, something I've contended for some time is that the S&P is not as stable set of data from which to derive comparisons for individual performances as it would have you believe.

For example, it does not have any internationality - it is US-based companies only, and as we are about to see, the removal of companies like Chrysler will have an effect which many will fail to remember years (or months) hence. As ONE economic trend line, it has some value, but as you point out, for qualitative analysis, it is questionable. And, it becomes less and less valuable over longer and longer periods of time.
